Giampiero Bodino

Giampiero Bodino was born in Turin, where he studied at the Architecture university.
Still a student, he approached the world of automotive design and collaborated with Italdesign Giugiaro, discovering a deep
passion for aerodynamic volumes. His debut in jewelry design took place under the wing of Gianni Bulgari, who was fascinated by his drawings and introduced him into Maison Bulgari in Rome, where he worked for ten years. The meeting with the luxury visionary Franco Cologni determined a new phase of his career, marked since 2002 by the experience as a Creative Director for the Richemont group in Milan. With the support of Richemont he founded his own high-jewelery Maison in 2011, and at the same time he carried forward his longstanding passion for painting.
In the artistic field, the exhibition installation “Imago non fugit” held in 2015, born from a site-specific project created for the Bagatti-Valsecchi Home Museum in Milan, and the exhibition at the Musée Bourdelle of Paris, inspired by the works of the sculptor Antoine Bourdelle, are to remember.
